Happy Friday! It’s day 10 of our #30daysofmonkeymarketing and we are continuing our chat about Instagram.
On your Instagram page, you will notice that your profile photo is a circle. Although it is small, that photo needs to have either your business’s logo or a photo that represents your business. Logos are easy to recognize and read, so if you have one, we highly suggest using it.
One issue that you might run into is the fact that that photo will be cropped to fit into the circle. For this reason, we recommend resizing your photo or logo to 320 pixels by 320 pixels using software like Canva or PicMonkey. This will give you a clean, polished look.
Once you have resized your logo or photo, head to your Instagram page to upload the photo/logo.
- Click on the “edit profile” button on your profile page.
- Click on “change profile photo”
- Upload the photo/logo you are wanting to use.
- Click “done”.
And that’s it! Easy right?! If you’d like us to take a look at your profile photo, head to our Facebook page and leave us a comment!
We will be back tomorrow for day 11! Stay tuned!
