It’s day 18 of our #30daysofmonkeymarketing! Yesterday we showed you how to create a Google My Business account and today we are chatting about keeping that account updated and current. Regularly updating your contact information on Google My Business is SO important because when people search for you, you want to ensure that they are getting the correct information at all times. This information includes your phone number, email, website, hours, and address.
Here’s how to keep your contact information updated:
- Head to your Google My Business account.
- Click the “info” button on the left side of the page.
- From there click on the sections that you want to update – phone, hours, address, etc.
- Tap “apply”.
And that’s it! Google makes it very easy to update and doing this when needed is a great way to keep people updated!
