6 New Marketing Tactics to Try in 2023

Named the fastest-growing social media channel of 2022, TikTok has taken the social world by storm, and for a good reason. Brands are showcasing their laid-back side with the platform and appealing to a younger audience. If you want to have a little fun or reach a younger demographic, we recommend getting on the platform. 


Following closely behind TikTok, Instagram has had a year of record growth. With short-form videos becoming increasingly popular, Instagram’s Reels feature led to an incredibly successful year for the app. We know Instagram has been around for a while – 12 years to be exact. If you aren’t on the app, now is the time to incorporate it into your marketing strategy. If you are, it’s a great time to utilize the new features and take your presence to the next level. 

Email Marketing

Email marketing isn’t for everyone, but if you are a business with a loyal customer base, email marketing is a great way to keep your brand top of mind. Plus, unlike social media, email marketing is a level playing field, which can be very beneficial. 


Digital competition is on the rise and although organic growth is great (the best in our opinion!), a little paid help can go a long way. Running ads via social media platforms and Google is a great way to stand out in your industry at an affordable price. We recommend starting with a platform you have the most success on and utilizing its ad feature. 


We recently met with the Pinterest team and found out that over 80% of women (moms!) are on Pinterest. Pinterest also has a high user household income, averaging $110K. With inflation on the rise, Pinterest is a great platform to utilize if you are looking for a demographic with more disposable income. 


The Great Resignation really made LinkedIn take off these past few years, but people are on the platform for more than just job searching. LinkedIn has seen a huge increase in thought leadership and rightfully so. If you are an expert in your industry, LinkedIn is a great place to stand out and share your expertise.
