April Fools’ Day

April Fools’ Day is here. Throughout the years, the internet has served up a lot of fun on this day. Keep an eye and ear out for some wacky digital play on 4/1.

Here are some examples of past foolish fun:

  • “Rickrolling” is when you trick someone into watching Rick Astley’s famous video. YouTube played the game back in 2008 so that each time someone clicked on a feature clip, they were sent here instead (cue earworm).
  • Expect Google to roll out something hilarious. In previous years they’ve “rickrolled” out Fiber to Pole, a Self-Driving Bike and Levity Algorithm (Hold up! Is that spokesperson Glenn?).
  • Here, the Barkista will happily make you a Pupkin Spice Latte.
  • Spotify turned the beat around when they replaced Discover Weekly with this.
  • Shutterstock once announced they were building the largest physical library of stock photo goodness.
  • Roku may suggest a $5 shake while watching this.

Entertain your friends (and even yourself) today by impressing them with:
