I am fascinated with the future and futurists like Dr. Michio Kaku and Ray Kurzweil.
My head was in the future even as a little girl. I once told my mom that I could not wait for the day when I would be able to carry my television around with me (now known as my iPad).
I greatly appreciated sci-fi movies and was intrigued by the dwellings of future folk. Many of the movies I watched showed stark minimalist homes free from stuff. I’d wonder where they kept items like their books and food. Today, we can get our books on digital – no need to take up space in our homes. We barely need kitchens anymore since food is only an app away. I’m looking forward to the day when I will enter an Outfit of the Day (OOTD) code into my clothing printer. Talk about fast fashion!
One Christmas, Santa delivered the coolest game called Pong. My brothers and I loved it. We played for hours. A game that could not possibly keep our attention today, but apparently, it’s a whole new adventure for monkeys.
Pager is a nine-year-old macaque monkey who plays “mind” Pong. He had brain chips placed into his brain thanks to the innovative company Neuralink .
Neuralink is yet another Elon Musk company catapulting us into the future – think computer chips for your brain. Remember Neo from The Matrix? There is a scene where a program is uploaded to his brain and, within minutes, he has mastered Jiu Jitsu.
Someday there may be a way to master marketing via upload or Neuralink, but until then, we would love to be your Marketing Monkey ?
The singularity draws ever near.
